醫生會按症狀、接觸史及病歷，討論是否需要指定過敏原IgE血液檢查、皮膚測試或轉介。可查詢食物及環境相關過敏疑慮；可安排項目、地點及費用須先確認。Symptoms, exposures and history guide discussion of targeted allergen-specific IgE blood tests, skin testing or referral. Enquire about food or environmental concerns and confirm available tests, location and fees.

不建議以IgG食物組合檢查診斷食物過敏或不耐受；也不應只憑一份檢驗報告大幅戒口。請由醫護結合臨床情況解釋結果。IgG food panels are not recommended for diagnosing food allergy or intolerance. Do not make extensive dietary exclusions from a test report alone; results require clinical interpretation.
